Following the roaring success of our logo, my lab team decided to build on it for our following presentations. Here are the backgrounds for the initial slides of the next three presentations we gave:

We've also done more than Photoshop cool scenes. So far this week we created the wing sections, and began working on creating the mounting apparatus.
I have now finished the lab exercises for the Aero Lab II class I'm taking. The last of those involved using a supersonic windtunnel. That isn't quite as fun in actuality as it sounds... the wind tunnel cross section is only 2"x2".
Now the focus for that class has switched to the projects. It turns out I was wrong about it in the last posting. The wing is actually to lower the nose of the boat because it's coming too far out of the water, reducing controllability. This logo that we made shows the boat model, which is 7.5 feet long, 1/4 scale of the real boat.
