I bought Microsoft Office for Mac last week. As a student here, I got a great discount, so I figured it was worth it for full compatibility. I only wanted it for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but it also came with Virtual PC. Then I remembered that as an engineering student, I am eligible to download Windows XP for free, so I installed Virtual PC and now have Windows running, in addition to all my other Apple OS's. I'm not sure how much use it'll see (it's usable, but fairly slow), but as a technophile I can't resist something like that for free. :)
I'm not sure what I'll be doing this summer, or next year. Hopefully I'll have another internship, but nothing has come forward, so far. I'd like to come back for my Masters, but as an out-of-state student here, that's a good amount of money, and no financial aid. I'm not sure why undergrad students get financial aid but Masters students don't, but that's the way it is.
The weather has been quite nice here lately. It's hit 70° a few times over the last week, so all the trees and shrubs are emitting leaves and flowers. Spring is in the air.
