I received an official offer of summer employment from Boeing yesterday. So I will be spending the summer in Leesburg, VA, working on satellite control system programming. I'm not sure exactly what that will entail yet, but I think it will be fun! It will sure beat lifeguarding, at any rate. And pay better, too! I don't know how it will affect summer plans, as my family has alot going on this summer.

I bought a used car Tuesday, a '99 Chevy Malibu. I got new tires for it Wednesday, and the dealer repaired the A/C (which was non-functional) and an oil leak on Thursday. Tomorrow Dad and I will leave. I will be living in Fairfax, VA, quite close to Washington, D.C., and about 25 miles from where I will be working. I expect to get back home at the end of August.
