  Well, I have accepted a job offer from Advatech Pacific, which is a fairly small aerospace/defense industry company based out of Redlands, CA, on the far eastern outskirts of LA.

  Advatech largely does computational analysis and design for various customers, including the DoD and various aerospace companies. What I will be working on to start with is a rocket launch vehicle design program.

  I've been doing a fair amount of reading while I've been home, since I haven't had much else to do. I checked out a couple Philip Dick short story books from the library. He has a lot of oddball ideas, but turns them into very good stories; I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot more of them turned into movies.

  Congrats on the new job! When do you head out to CA? I've never been, but I've always wanted to check it out.
