  I just had my last final today, in math. I got A's in three courses, and I don't have the grades back for the other two. Hopefully at least one of them will be an A.

  Overall I enjoyed my first semester here. The material wasn't extremely difficult, although the grading was quite strict. I learned alot of interesting stuff, though. Still, it will be good to have a couple weeks off now. I registered for my last class, finally, an American Culture class. I don't remember what it's about, precisely, but it was about the only class I could find (open or closed) that fit my schedule. The Chemistry here is simply ridiculous. It fills up practically my whole schedule, which was making it very tough to find other classes.

  The final paper for my engineering class is finally over, after I worked on it for 5 hours today. If anyone wants to learn more than they probably ever really wanted to know about alternative fuel systems, Click Here! (270K PDF) Unfortunately, that 5 hours still wasn't quite enough to finish it up, so it's still rather rough in areas. But it's alot better than it was last night! Now the only homework I have left is math, which is due tomorrow.

  The last day of class is Wednesday, and then I'll have a week and a half of exams. I have started registering for classes to take next semester, but a couple I wanted were already full, so I have been looking for some others. I am currently registered for Chemistry 130 (General Chemistry), Mechanical Engineering 240 (Dynamics & Vibrations), and English 313 (Literary Studies - Science Fiction). I had originally wanted to take an English course on the history of the language, but that was full. So now I'm up to 13 credits, and I just need one more class.

  Well, I had a good Thanksgiving break, and lots of good food. Unfortunately, something I ate probably the last day gave me food poisoning so I was sick Monday. Still, it was a nice break from school- I only did a couple of hours of homework over that 4-day period.

  Now that the semester is nearly over, however, things are really coming fast. Only a few more lectures, and then tests. Final projects are all coming due, too, so I'm working long hours and not having much free time.
